Sagar Gahatraj is a self-motivated, dedicated, and artistically inspired person with a Master’s Degree in Media Arts and Practices and a Bachelor’s Degree in Film Directing. He has a diversified experience in various film and visual art projects. The objective of his film-making journey is to research and re-tell stories of his region and create a thought-challenging and meaningful cinema in an unconventional, but comprehensible form and film language. He has worked on more than 75 projects among which he directed about 24 short films/documentaries / promotional videos, edited 120+ videos, worked as director of photography for 20+ projects, did sound designing for several projects, and assisted in creating VFX for 1 feature film and numerous short films. He is in constant search of opportunities for the horizontal and artistic development of his professional skills.
