Miha Šubic is a film director, editor and animator. During his studies at the School of Arts, University of Nova Gorica, he experimented with various film genres and techniques, and graduated with the 3D animated film Zadnje kosilo, which was shown at more than 40 festivals around the world.
He participates in many development and networking platforms, including Sarajevo Talents, European Short Pitch, MidpointWritersRoom and Less Is More. He is also selected to live and work in artist residencies in Berlin, Vienna and Amsterdam.
He is the founder of the film production company Film Factory, which, in addition to the production of original projects, also devotes itself to education and film literacy of younger generations.
Miha is also a member of the Society of Slovenian Animated Film :D’SAF! and DPPU post-production creators’ association. He is the program curator of the online platform Projektor, and mentor of film education programs Film Smoothie.
Miha doesn’t drink coffee; he is kept up by filmmaking 🙂
