At this year’s 27th Festival of Slovenian Film in Portorož, films from our student production were awarded a special mention as part of the Vesna awards. The films that received special mention are: Onkraj obraza by Anja Resman, (Ne)srečen dan by Karin Likar, and Okno by Nel Jeraj Sedej.
The festival jury’s justification is as follows:
“Each of the highlighted films has certain creative achievements that must be recognized. The animated film Onkraj obraza by Anja Resman is a delicate work that reflects the author’s creative maturity. (Ne)srečen dan by Karin Likar is a playful, humorous, imaginative, and visually fresh animation. Okno by Nel Jeraj Sedej is a bold social-critical cinematic experiment.”
