SYNOPSIS
The mobile phone has become an essential tool and has changed our lives dramatically. We cannot imagine life without it. We are becoming addicts, we have a smartphone epidemic and we hardly bother about the many negative effects of this popular technology. The short film – a satirical Phonecalypse commercial – shows the ‘fairy-tale qualities of the mobile phone’ in a
dystopian, apocalyptic world that this adored object is helped to build.
