Opening the doors to creativity – you’re invited to the student exhibition of the School of Arts!
As the semester comes to a close, we once again gather at the School of Arts to showcase the diverse and original works of our students. Join us on Friday, May 30, from 6 PM to 9 PM for an evening filled with film screenings, photographic narratives, spatial installations, and experimental digital art.

Location: School of Arts, Vipavska 13, Rožna Dolina, Nova Gorica
The exhibition will feature:
- short fiction and animated films,
- individual and group photographic series,
- innovative new media experiments,
- spatial and interactive installations,
- and the results of intensive creative workshops led by internationally recognized mentors.
The exhibition will also include final thesis projects – both completed and in progress.
The summer months will be especially dynamic for the School, as our students and mentors take part in several important international events:
- In early June, we’ll participate in the KINO OTOK film festival, where our exhibition Time and Space In Between will be accompanied by screenings, and three of our students will be featured in the Video on the Beach programme.
- During the same period, our students and mentors will collaborate with partner institutions at international festivals and workshops, including ANIMAFEST in Zagreb, one of the most prominent animation festivals, the FESTANČA animated film festival in Žilina, Slovakia, where students will create in an international setting, and in Girona, where we’ll conduct several creative workshops with international participation.
- In September, we return to ARS ELECTRONICA with our exhibition Slow down. Breathe. Feel. Think. Act!, a prestigious platform for contemporary art where we will present our work.
- We will also be, for the fourth consecutive year, co-organizers of the international stop-motion workshop at the STOPTRIK festival in Maribor.
The highlight of the autumn will be September 19, when we will join the Nova Gorica City Gallery in celebrating the 30th anniversary of the School of Arts and the University of Nova Gorica with a major exhibition.
