At the 20th Animateka, we have a film Let me breathe by Katarina Brglez , while the films Chill Stacy, chill Tamara Taskove and Sabotage Nede Ivanović in the Student Panorama. However, other students are also present at the festival, participating in film screenings and other festival events.
In addition, at “AnimatekaPro” master’s student Anja Resman presented the movie Beyond the Face , which is currently in post-production and will premiere in 2024.
This year’s student jury includes, in addition to colleagues from UL ALUO and AGRFT, our master’s program students: Dragana Stanković and Brina Fekonja. At the end of the festival, the best student animated film was chosen in the “Young Talents of Europe” program, for which the award is co-financed by the University of Ljubljana and our University in Nova Gorica. The central Competition program of the festival also includes the film Octopus Banana Hotchpotch by our mentor Milanka Fabjančič. Milanka also has a solo exhibition in the Kresija Gallery, which presents this film of hers (until 18.12.2023).
