Our students have been playing a significant role in shaping the Festival of Slovenian Film in Portorož for many years. Their involvement goes beyond simply attending screenings and following events—they regularly showcase their own films and animations as creators. We are proud that their work is recognized on a national level, as the festival repeatedly opens doors for them into the professional world of filmmaking. This year, 12 projects by our students have been selected for the 28th edition of the festival. In the competition program alone, we have 8 films: Arahnofobija, Alkoholizem v moji družini, Samo četrtina, Suiside Fish, Mirni protest, Dekonstrukcija, Temno brdo, and Ženski klub. Additionally, 4 films will be featured in the overview program: Potovanje, Ljubezen gre skozi želodec, Mind the Gap, and Dobrodošli v 2028.
