Fear is an intense and unpleasant negative feeling that a person experiences when he sees or expects danger, whether it is real or unreal. It occurs in the middle of perceiving or expecting a real or imagined danger or a serious threat. It is a primary emotion just like happiness or sadness. During the global coronavirus pandemic when most people in their homes feared this unknown virus, my city was hit by an earthquake. Something very real. Unknown and known threats reinforced one another. At the root of all fears is man’s fear of death. That’s the topic of this paper. The space of freedom, the blue sky that represents life, is slowly disappearing in fear and makes us think about our uncertain future with an end that awaits every one of us.
