Last laugh
SYNOPSIS
In a theatre with a stage and draped curtains the audience is talking loudly. The curtains rise and a clown with a sad face steps on stage. The audience goes silent. The clown starts performing magic and circus tricks. The audience hates the performance and after each trick they boo and throw things at the clown. The clown, however, begins to perform the final trick. He pulls a stool from behind his back, steps on it, and hangs himself. After a short silence, the audience begins to applaud with joy and laughter, and the curtains close.
