Miha Reja is a slovene animation film director. He discovered his passion for animated films at the School of Arts, University of Nova Gorica. There he created two short animated films, both of which received an award from the Society of Slovenian Animated Film (;DSAF).
After three years at the School of Arts, he also completed the Erasmus program at the LUCA School of Arts in Belgium. Since then he soon started developing his first professional short animatedfilm titled ‘Fur’.
He is inspired by the potential of animation because he considers it as one big art made up of various small crafts. Inspired by the charm of illustrations and the direction of live action films, he wants to create partially self-confessed stories that are complete fiction at the same time.
