Profiteroles
SYNOPSIS
Jan, eighteen, lives with his terminally ill mother, who one day sends him to the store for profiteroles. On the way, his friend Aleks talks him into checking out a friend’s graffiti piece — “just for an hour.” The hour stretches into a full day of graffiti and old memories, and Jan nearly forgets why he left home in the first place. When he returns, late and empty –
handed, he’s convinced he’s let her down. But when he finds his mother, he realizes the profiteroles were never really the point —she had simply wanted to give him one day to breathe again.
