Že vse od začetkov Šole uporabnih umetnosti Famul Stuart leta 1994, ravno tako pa tudi v njeni naslednici Visoki šoli za umetnost Univerze v Novi Gorici vsak semester študentje predstavijo svoje delo javnosti na razstavi. S tem pridobivajo izkušnje tako rokov (končanje del) kot tudi načinov predstavitve ter komunikacije z različnimi deležniki, ki jih bodo srečevali kasneje (npr. naročnik, producent, kustos, splošna javnost, družina). Na spodnjih povezavah so dostopne fotogalerije razstav od leta 2011 naprej.

The main aim of the project is to create a new and updated BA curriculum for Erciyes University, Visual Communication Design Department, Cartoons and Animation Major. And doing so, Erciyes University wants to build a new and strong partnership with other Universities from Turkey and Europe.

After the analyses of the situation in the professional animation sector as well as other animation programmes if Animation in Europe (with a focus on Turkey) a new BA curriculum and samples of programme materials will be developed.

PAIC je multidisciplinarni projekt, ki raziskuje in razvija rešitve za kulturno regeneracijo zapostavljenih in deprivilegiranih skupnosti ter odgovarja na vprašanje, kako lahko umetniške prakse pripomorejo k osvežitvi njihove kulturne identitete. // “Participatory Art for Invisible Communities” involves 4 partners from different EU countries in the development of multidisciplinary and multimedia participatory art activities with the ambition to “artistically instigate social change in deprived, alienated, isolated or remote communities”.

Involving four universities from Finland, UK, Lithuania and Slovenia, aided by a company from Slovenia, the project aims at developing entrepreneurial behavior with both staff and students in selected high-tech subject domains of higher education through the use of innovative teaching methods, which encourage university-business cooperation as well as knowledge sharing across national boundaries and subject domains.

Using the University of Nova Gorica hometown, the bi-national twin-city Nova Gorica/Gorica, as a topical backdrop for this film & animation intensive 2-week workshop, student participants from Norway, Portugal and Slovenia will through production of new audiovisual and multimedia artistic works research cultural comparative aspects of »balancing life on the border«.


The Linum foundation and its partners are convinced that the role of the CITIZEN has immensely increased in Central Europe after the fall of the iron curtain in 1989. A 2-day conference is organized on the topic by the Linum foundation. Supported by CEI

The Komiža international summer course was recurring for 4 consecutive years between 2011 and 2014, and is bound to return again soon to the island of Vis, Croatia, in one form or another...

2014 - 2011

A partnership from four different countries, Croatia, Austria, Italy and Slovenia, has developed a double programme - the internationally oriented Media Arts and Practices Master of Arts programme in the ADRIART project, supported by the European Union through the Lifelong Learning Programme, Erasmus Multilateral projects. 


The collaborative course in the partnership of University of Nova Gorica and Bauhaus University Weimar focused mainly on montage. The composition of shots along the simultaneous and the successive axis were the subject of a theoretical seminar both in Nova Gorica and in Weimar. Afterwards six teams of students from the two participating institutions (constituationg three mixed groups, to the topics of: "LABOUR", "ENCOUNTER" and "ONE DAY") worked on creating three joint films in distance collaboration. The student groups met online for the first time at the occasion of the video-conferenced premiere of the three films.
