“Toon Boom Harmony and Storyboard Pro”

This short course is designed for beginners to introduce them to the software tools Toon Boom Harmony and Storyboard Pro. It covers working with scenes, the node view, the timeline, managing the library, using pegs and deformers and animating on a simple rig. 

After the course, participants will be able to efficiently create and manage simple animations in Toon Boom.

The training will take the form of practical tasks, with simultaneous presentation of case studies and solutions. Participants will receive a .pdf guide with all the important information from the training. Library, assets, character bible, voice over for work will be provided.

Dates: 10 – 13 September 2024

Location: Nova Gorica, Slovenia

Number of participants: 8-10

Entry level: Beginners with basic knowledge of computers and any 2D software.

Participation fee: 300 EUR (including training fee, accommodation and meals during the programme dates).

JONASZ WITASIK, experienced lead animator responsible for numerous animated projects at the studio, e.g. BASIA tv series.

MARCIN WASILEWSKI is vice president and co-founder of GS Animation Studio. Director and creative producer, awarded at SIGGRAPH, IAF ANIMATOR, Ale Kino! Festival, etc. He directed the short animated film “Lost Senses”, which was honoured as a Vimeo Staff Pick. Director of the series “Mami Fatale”, „Basia” and “Wilq”. He is currently creative producer on the series “Lucy and the Silver Spies” and director on the NETFLIX Original series “Kayko and Kokosh”. Marcin is also working on the animated feature film “Shrew of Destiny” and his own series concept “Lufcik, Julka and Skafander”. He was a member of the Expert Council of the Polish Film Institute.
