WE ARE OPENING THE DOORS TO CREATIVITY – YOU ARE INVITED TO THE EXHIBITION OF STUDENT WORKS FROM THE SCHOOL OF ARTS!
At the end of the semester, we once again invite you to the premises of the School of Arts, where on Friday, May 29, between 6 PM and 9 PM, we will present a diverse and original selection of works by our students. Join us for an evening combining film screenings, photographic narratives, spatial installations, as well as experimental and digital artistic practices.

This year, the exhibition will also be open on Saturday, May 30, from 10 AM to 3 PM, with a guided tour at 11 AM.
The exhibition will feature:
- short fiction and animated films,
- photographic series by individuals and groups,
- innovative new media experiments,
- spatial and interactive installations,
- and the results of intensive creative workshops led by internationally renowned mentors.
The exhibition will also include diploma projects – both completed works and projects currently in development.
The summer months will be especially dynamic for the academy, as our students and mentors will take part in several important international events and collaborations:
- At the beginning of June, we will traditionally participate in the KINO OTOK film festival, where seven of our students are included in the Video on the Beach programme. We will also once again present our work at the Salsaverde Gallery, this time not with an installation exhibition, but with a short programme of films and animations. At the same time, the VeneziaShorts short film festival in Verona will take place, featuring four films by our students.
- At the beginning of July, our students and mentors will collaborate with partner organisations at international festivals and workshops, including ANIMAFEST in Zagreb, one of the most important animation festivals, the FESTANČA animated film festival in Žilina, Slovakia, where they will create in an international environment, and in Girona, where we will participate in several creative workshops with international participants.
- In addition, for the fifth consecutive year, we will co-organise the international stop-motion workshop at the STOPTRIK festival in Maribor.
