One of the most important international festivals at the intersection of art-science-society Ars Electronica in Linz (Austria) – where we will be present with our exhibition again this year – announced this year’s festival winners Prix Ars Electronica Award. Among them is the Ars Electronica Award for Digital Humanity, which is awarded by the Ars Electronica Center in cooperation with the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Our project konS ≡ PARK – Academy for Research Arts also received an honorable mention at the Ars Electronica Award for Digital Humanity. Projects that demonstrate the power of cultural exchange and cooperation for the development of a human-centered digital world compete for the award.

Specifically, among the recipients of the extensive konS consortium are our alumni, Miha Godec and Lavoslava Benčič.
We are proud and congratulate!

From the jury’s explanation:

In addition to its highly convincing quality and originality, konS-PARK is a wonderful example of how diversely the concept of “Digital Humanity” can be interpreted. (…) konS-PARK is a concrete offer for the Slovenian education system, focusing on young people and providing space for original, unexpected, unusual, and inspiring perspectives on the present and a possible future.
