At the end of April, the CEE Animation Forum 2021 took place, in which, in addition to professional animated projects in the making (short, feature films, series and other animated formats), students were presented – in the department so called “Rising stars”.
In the selection among all students from Central and Eastern Europe, the selectors also selected two our students: Anja Resman with the master’s film BEYOND THE MASK and Miha Reja with the graduation film KURENT.
On April 28, they presented themselves with their sympathetic presentations. With his work KURENT, Miha Reja convinced the jury, which awarded him the Animation Sans Frontieres Scholarship, which enables him to develop his four-week trainings in various places in Europe together with other animated filmmakers and under the expert guidance of Dobra. the next creative project.
Jury’s explanation: “We are delighted to announce that for the strong style and interesting technical pipeline of his project, for the clear vision and very good pitch and obvious personal dedication, we, the Animation Sans Frontieres partners, are very happy to award Miha Reja the CEE Animation Forum 2021 ASF prize, which will consist of a full scholarship to the 2021/2022 programme, starting in October this year at the Akademie Baden-Württemberg. Congratulations again Miha, we are looking forward to meeting you and working with you together.“
